Applying the word

God’s word is a proof producer, it gives the proof for what it talks about. In a Panadol advert we are told: “if symptoms persist after three days consult your doctor” because the head pain you are feeling might be more than just a headache, it might be a brain tumor or something worse, so the drug is limited only to its function which is to eradicate the pain from the headache.
If you felt a pain on your head and you applied the word of God, the word of God has an ability of its own to function without any limitation, it would go right to the source of that pain and cut it off, because God’s will for the believer is to give him health consistently, thus the word acts accordingly and remember the word of God is powerful and sharper than any two edged sword.
You apply the word of God by speaking it and maintaining your confession until you get the results that it talks about, there might be a time constraint but you take a cue from Abraham (Romans 4:19-21), how that he considered not his body, meaning he saw his body but chose not to consider it, so you feel the pain but refuse to consider it, he was strong in faith giving glory to God, you see he was strong in faith and maintained his confessions of God’s word (Hebrews 11:13), giving him praise for the results that were yet unseen in the natural but already existed in the realm of the spirit.
Your healing and prosperity already exists in the realm of the spirit, but you have to receive it into the natural, by speaking it, refusing to observe lying vanities, maintaining your confession and giving thanks. If you do this, you would doubtless come back with a lasting testimony and this is how you apply the word.

Hebrews 11:13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having SEEN them afar off, and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
