The manner/ method you use in expressing yourself matters, infact it matters almost as much as the content of expression. God is almighty, God is al’smart and everything he created has intellience. When he made man, he was the crowning work of God’s ‘efforts’, and he created him in his own image and in his likeness, this shows us that man is a very intellient being (now, that is common knowledge) but it does tell us that the way you speak to human beings and the things you say matter.
Don’t talk to others as if they were fools, babes, poor etc. (don’t insult their intelligence.) No, show some respect and politeness in your speech. Learn to say ‘please’, ‘i’m sorry’, ‘thank you’ to others, (Colossians 3:15b): the rich, low-paid worker, wicked boss, annoying classmate etc. Remember Christianity is the life of God in a human spirit, and it is our duty as Christians to bring that life to full expression and we do that by showing love constantly by our words and actions towards others. So talk to people politely, mind your words, be descent and royal in your speech and desist from talking bad about others! Live everyday as the love-prince that you are.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
