Just Laugh

Walking in God’s light means seeing things from his perspective, seeing the challenge from his perspective. God is mighty, nothing scares him, nothing is too big for him to deal with, so if there was a challenge facing him, he would laugh, because he would not bothered.
So laughter is a sign of victory, a sign of ‘bigness’, a sign of might and mastery. Some people think you only laugh when a comedian says something funny, well yes you do but you should learn to laugh at challenges. The bible shows us that God, our father laughs.
Laughter is not a feeling, for example you could easily start singing a fast tempo song and immediately change it to a slow tempo song, because you want to, you really didn’t need to feel ‘fast’ or ‘slow’. You can easily maintain a conversation with your boss when you need to because you could get fired for wrong behaviour, so you would talk to your boss even when you don’t feel like it. The same applies to laughing.
Yes, the medical report shows you are dying, yes the debts are increasing, yes you have suffered from various heart break, but if you would just stop thinking about it and laugh for a while rejoicing over Jesus’ victory over the devil and how that the devil is a defeated foe, you would see the changes immediately and you would create an atmosphere where God can work on your behalf.
Don’t be discouraged, be bold and laugh, knowing that your father is on the throne and he is bigger than all!

Psalm 2:1-4
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
