Profitable Ventures

Every business man ought to be profit minded, the achievement of the business can be deduced from the annual turn over and the profit made. God is an investor and he doesn’t invest in waste, he invests in profitable ventures; he is very business minded and it is  revealed in the instructions we receive from him, he tells us to weigh our words before we speak, meaning we shouldn’t just talk any how but we should be profit minded, our words should be edifying all the time.
Well he gave us his word and showed us that his word is profitable, it would have been good enough if he had said his word is nice or can help us change but more than that he tells us that the word of God is profitable, so every second invested in studying and/ or doing the word is a profitable investment.
The word of God says “Resist the devil and he will flee from you!” That is a profitable investment, if you felt a pain caused in your body by the devil or you are experiencing a financial difficulty championed by the devil, it would help you much more and it would be of great profit to you if you simply do what God says, instead of crying or feeling really bad for yourself, resist te devil with your words of faith. The word tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, maybe you are interested in a lady and she is not quite saved, and you feel you would loose out if you keep away, well… the word of God is profitable, it would pay you much more if you hearken (hear to do) to the word.
Remember God is always looking out for your success, he wants the best for you, thus if he gave you a material to live by, it must definitely be meant for your success.

2Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(KJV)
