Doing your part of the work!

God wants bold children, the bible says in the book of Daniel 11:32, that those that know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits, telling us that it is part of the call of every Christian to be strong and courageous.
God told Joshua that he would be with him, that statement alone, should have gotten Joshua singing for joy, but then God didn’t stop there, he told him that despite the fact that he- God was going to be with him, he needed to be strong and courageous and he showed him how, he told him to meditate and speak the word, so we know that one sure way to be strong and courageous, is to let the word of God (i.e. the ability of God) soak into you by constant meditation, Joshua 1:7-8.
Well, Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6-7 to stir up the gift of God that was in him, and he also said that God had given him a spirit of power, but Timothy’s responsibility was to stir up the gift, how? By praying in the holy Ghost. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:4, that he that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself, another rendering of the word edifieth is embolden, that tells you that God is not going to make you bold, he has shown you how to embolden yourself, he said spend time praying in the holy Ghost.
So we have seen from the word, that the more we meditate and speak the word, and the more we pray in the holy Ghost, the more strong and courageous we get, allowing ourselves to do exploits in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelations 1:17-18
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
